Mohamed Abdelazim stands out as a leading expert in RF/AMS chip development, boasting a career of over twenty years filled with significant achievements across all aspects of chip development, including System and Analog/RF design. As the Engineering Director at InfiniLink, he oversees the development of Ultra High-Speed Serdes Clocking solutions on state-of-the-art technology nodes. His expertise covers a wide range of technical areas from system-level design to advanced PLLs and Power Management circuits.
Before joining InfiniLink, Abdelazim made impactful contributions at Goodix as Senior Engineering Manager, at Si-Ware Systems as Analog Design Manager, and at SySDSoft as a Senior Development Engineer. His leadership has been pivotal in many first-Silicon successful chips, in domains like Low Noise Frequency synthesizers, inertial sensor chips, wireless power transceiver chips, and wireless communication ASICs.
Abdelazim's academic achievements include an M.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ain Shams University, earned in 2011, and a B.Sc. in the same field, in 2004.
Ramy Awad is a distinguished professional with over two decades of both academic and industrial experience in the fields of Analog and Mixed-Signal design. Throughout his illustrious career, he has successfully led to the tapeout of tens of chips. Between 2015 and 2022, Ramy made significant contributions at MediaTek in Irvine as Senior Manager of the switch PHY design team. His work primarily focused on high-speed wireline transceivers front ends, clocking, and data converters, catering to optical and high-performance switch applications. Ramy's expertise was recognized within the JESD standard committee, where he has been an active member of the 204D task group since 2020. Prior MediaTek, Ramy contributed to Broadcom Corp. in Irvine from 2008 to 2015 as a Staff-II Design Scientist developing PAM4 and Coherent Transceivers for Optical Applications.
Ramy's academic credentials are equally impressive, holding a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2013. He also holds a M.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ain Shams University, attained in 2007, and a B.Sc. in the same field from the same university in 2003. Ramy has authored 10 IEEE papers and holds 8 US Patents.
